Our composters are made from a recycled, 55-60 gallon, food grade plastic barrel with a terra-cotta color and a screw top lid for ease of putting scraps and debris in. The frame is made of 4" X 4" and 2" X 4" white cedar for strength and durability. The frame is then nailed together using galvanized nails.

The barrel turns very easily on the steel rod provided. The steel rod aids in mixing and turning of the composting mixture and to helps break it down quicker.

An empty composter is light weight and easily moved.
